"Motivation: Act as a catalyst for the growth of a company"


Motivation means to provide intellect, reward, entrust, or concern those results in a particular action or absolute behavior or conduct. Even a simple action of eating is motivated by hunger. As literacy is motivated by desire of gaining knowledge. From incentive to necessity anything can work as a motivator.
Here we have some ways through which you can motivate your employees without using money as a tool. Because money not always works as a motivator for those who are career conscious. So you should try to use these following tips as to motivate your team.

Understand and acknowledge your employees career objectives.
Some employees are on the track of some specific career path so you just need to know their career objectives and give them a chance to perform at a higher level and let them show their potential. Because those who are career conscious are not always motivate by money. So time to time we have to tell them the about the upcoming opportunity and promotion and upward mobility in the organization. I think it can work wonder for the growth of an organization. 

Employee retention
Retaining old employees always better then to recruit new one on that place because by recruiting new employee you are not loosing money, time and talent. Rather we also loose the loyalty of employees on the other side. We are spending so much time to train an employee. So the supervisors and team leaders have to determine how they can make them loyal towards the organization by using best management practices. 

Job Security
The most important thing is to motivate employees is Job Security. Because it leaves the good impact on an employee by doing so we can get the 100% of the employee. Till the time he is not secure with us he will always thinking of job termination and trying other things to get their life on track. Money does not work in the absence of job security. 

Enhance cultural values and working atmosphere
By enhancing the cultural values and working atmosphere, you can motivate the employees. Everyone would like to work with that organization which has good working conditions and cultural values. High level of employee retention and employee engagement leaves good impact on employees and they are less likely to leave the organization. Company mission and vision works wonder to boost up the morale of the employees as they are seeking their growth with that organization.

Need to redefine job requirements and create more challenging jobs
One of the most important factors to motivate employees is to redefine their jobs. As sometimes they get bored by doing his routine jobs. So by redesigning the job requirement you can get the back employees interest which they had loose.  And try to create more challenging jobs for those who are performing well.

Recognize performers publicly
Recognition is one of the tools which have a higher value then to increase the pay of someone. So the manager should recognize the performance publicly because it leaves the good impact on an employee and also increases his self respect.

Create training programmes and educational opportunities
By assessing the need of training we should create the new training programmes and create educational opportunities for those who are seeking of it for their career development.

These are the few tips, which you can use to motivate the employees. I think it will work better rather then increase in pay.
